How It Works
InteliTrac is a car and student ID system that identifies the pickup vehicle via a barcode and barcode reader when it enters a designated school pickup zone.
Once the pickup vehicle is identified, it sends student ID information to a computer which in turn posts pictures and names to a large LCD display inside the school. Once the students pictures are posted, they can be on their way to the pickup point.
Identification of the vehicle is made via an exclusive barcode affixed to the rear side window of the pickup vehicle. Then specially designed software in the sytem’s computer matches the barcode with the students that are to be picked up. Once the students are identified they can be on their way, in queue, to the pick up area long before the pickup vehicle reaches the pickup point, keeping the line moving and the pickups in a steady constant flow.
InteliTrac eliminates the confusion and congestion of after school pickup by getting students into an organized queue that matches exactly with the order of the vehicles making the pickups.

InteliTrac software is all Windows based and extremely easy to use. Just input parent or guardian ID information along with the student and student’s information. The program automatically assigns a barcode number that is absolutely exclusive to one particular vehicle. Extra vehicles can be easily added in just a few seconds.
The large LCD display panel has up to 7 columns. Each column represents a pickup vehicle and each column can display as many as 8 student’s pictures that are to be picked up by that particular vehicle. As students are picked up, their column disappears off of the screen and the next car’s students are identified. Columns are color coded to accommodate different pickup zones.
The barcode reader will read a barcode on the pick-up vehicle up to 6 ft. away. Barcodes are exclusive to the school and can not be photocopied successfully. Once properly applied , the barcode decal is virtually impossible to remove without being destroyed. The reader uses a Class II laser, that can not cause eye damage unless viewed directly for an extended period of time. |
